Early stages students (4-6 years) are less experienced but
Their physical growth is not completed yet. They need to have more free time to play with a small group simple activities. A teacher or parent are supposed to care about their safety since they can fall easily. However, they have the ability to climb and swing independently.
During this stage, a child becomes more obvious if she or he is right-handed or left-handed. Because of developing muscles and eye-hand cooperation, usually, a child in this stage knows how to dress herself or himself and can go to toilet independently.
It is worthily mentioned that a child in this stage of life imitates adults and concerns about pleasing them. For these children, “good” or “bad” is what parents and teachers approve or condemn. They are sensitive to any criticism and easily get embarrassed. This could lead them to tell lies or blame others for any fault. Feeling the sense of jealousy is normal among them. They may cry for tiny reasons but can recover swiftly and return to play with no trouble.
These children are fascinated with exploring and learning about new things. This interest is likely to be unorganized and less qualified. Unlike concrete concepts, it is hard for them to grasp abstract concepts. They have the ability to color between the lines and learn numbers and shapes easily.
This phase of life is critical. A child should feel that she or he is emotionally and physically safe. Any bad experience may cause the child to suffer all her or his life. A teacher is ought to be well qualified in dealing with such unique stage of life. A teacher is expected to be trustworthy and bring a well-behaved example for them.
